Battles of the Civil War

INTRODUCTION
Welcom to your webquest on the Civil War. There were many battles during the Civil War and each played a vital role in the attempt to secure a victory for either side. Some were won with military battle tactics learned in the various military schools such as Vally Forge. Others were won because of shear will and determination as Lawrence Chamberlain demonstrated in his famous victory at Gettysburg during the Battle of Little Round Top. Still, other battles were lost as the result of stupidity and ignorance to battlefield tactics such as Pickett's Charge. Use the links below and follow them in order as you take the role of a Battle Field Historian. Enjoy your journey back in time.
